To better promote our Black History Month programs we need your help. Design a poster for our Black History Month 2011 Celebrations! Everyone is invited to participate. Entries are due on Saturday, February 20, 2010.

Author of the Magic Pencil will host an opening Black History Month program at the Hamtramck Public Library on February 6 at 1:00 PM.

Meet the author and attend the book signing on Saturday, February 13 at 3 p.m.

Karen E. Dabney will talk about her novel, The Magic Pencil on Saturday, February 20 from 12 to 2 p.m.

The Hamtramck Public Library will host the annual Gospel Music Concert on Saturday, February 27 at 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.
